Lake Michigan has a multitude of personalities that can change from hour to hour and season to season. For the last several years the lake has been a source of renewal, escape and inspiration. This photograph of Lake Michigan was made on a morning in August 2008.Many times I am asked what a particular photograph is supposed to mean, what is it's significance, etc. Each photograph that I present contains intendment and was made as a reaction to a particular stimulus or inspiration. But I do not desire to impress any preconceived idea onto a viewer. Rather I entreat the viewer to find their own interpretation and meaning within the photograph.
